I’m now offering retainer services to help writers who would like to book with me but who are unsure which services to book or who may have several items they need help with. Good, professional edits are costly, so this enables those with budget concerns get some great guidance and recommendations without having to invest a large amount right away; it’s essentially like a pay-as-you-go option that offers a flexible timeline.
Retainers are available in $1000 increments; this typically covers about 8 hours of work, be it edits, assessments, query and synopsis critiques, brainstorming, consulting, etc. I keep track of the hours used, and once the retainer runs out, we can assess where you’re at, what work still needs to be done (if any), and apply another retainer if necessary.
