Testimonials and Books

I think word of mouth and testimonials can go a long way in establishing trust between a new client and an editor. I’m so thankful for the kind feedback on my work, and hopefully, this can help make your decision to hire me a little easier. Of course, it’s easy for any freelancer to handpick their clients’ testimonials and only show the good ones, but my average is 5 stars because I always deliver quality services and keep all my clients happy—every single one. I strive for excellence with my clients and work hard to keep it that way. Check out what my clients are saying!

One of my most recent indie author clients had this to say after I completed copyedits on her most recent novel, Wicked Bleu, launched on October 10, 2022 (see more about the book below):

Published Books I’ve Worked On

Many of my clients are indie authors, but I’m also working directly with Rising Action Publishing Co. and have a full schedule of books releasing in 2023 and beyond that I will post here closer to their launch dates. I’m so excited and honoured to be able to be a part of bringing these fabulous books into the world!

My fabulous client, E. Denise Billups, released book two in her Simone Doucet paranormal series, Wicked Bleu, on October 10, 2022. The first book of hers I read was Keepers of the Gate: Twilight Ends book one, and I was hooked. I love a good supernatural story, especially when there’s ancestry involved. Billups’ writing is absolutely gorgeous, easily evoking images in my mind with her detailed descriptions of setting and emotion. After I read it, I left a review that was selected as Top Review. When she released book one of the Simone Doucet series, Tainted Harvest, I read it immediately and of course, loved it. Denise reached out to me earlier this year to discuss copyedits on Wicked Bleu and I was absolutely thrilled! What an honour to get to work with her on this book. If you like eerie supernatural stories with ghosts and hauntings and some unique time travel, mysteries, and beautifully described scenes, definitely pick up a copy of Wicked Bleu. It can be read as a standalone, but I of course recommend reading Tainted Harvest first because it is equally splendid!

Wicked Bleu cover by E. Denise Billups. The book cover is a dark blue shade with jasmine flowers down the left side, a Black woman's face with blue eyes and slightly parted lips, and part of New Orleans showing with the title and author name and Simone Doucet Series Book 2

Stay tuned for a whole bunch of fabulous books I’m working on, to be listed here in the coming months!
